It’s FUNdraising time!
Well, rather, it’s time to start planning for FUNdraiser time!
It’s so wonderful and amazing to have watched and been a part of this resurgence of FoLCdom. We have so many new FoLCs, many of whom are writers! And I’m still so grateful to all the FoLCs who have stuck around in the leaner years and kept the fandom going.
FoLCs have always been an amazing and generous bunch—so much so that we rarely need to ask for donations to keep stuff up and running! Every single cent donated goes directly to paying for things like hosting fees, domain names, and the software the sites run on.

- L&C Fanfic/nFanfic Indexes (but dedicatedly updated by Dawn & Crew)
Last year, we all talked excitedly about doing a FUNdraiser like we have in years past—we floated ideas like creating some FoLCdom swag and/or people donating their artistic talents for a silent auction (like fanart and story auction winner’s choice).
We’re looking to create a FUNdraiser Committee, which would be responsible for deciding what and how and when the fundraiser will be. Michael and I will be available for advice and minimal guidance, of course!
We’d love to have a minimum of two people, if possible, with an ideal committee having 2 - 5 people. So . . .
