Gahhhh!!!! That's all for now. Yes, I have two other parts for this story planned. I will try to write them some time in the near future. But for now, at least we have a happy, healthy young boy living in the home he was meant to have landed in from the very start.

I'm so behind with all my feedback that I'm just going to leave FDK here for the last few parts. This was just a fantastic insight into what Clark's life might have been like if he hadn't been adopted by a loving couple like Martha and Jonathan from the start. Your portrayal of this little boy who's basically afraid of his own shadow is - I want to say spot on - but I don't have any experience with kids who suffered through emotional abusual like Clark did. So I just have to guess you did a great job of showing us what kind of impact that trauma might have on him. He's so very reluctant to trust. And gradually that trust in Martha and Jonathan grows. Oh, and don't we all know that this trust will be put to the test when his powers start to kick in?

How is he going to deal with that?

I'm so glad to read that there will be more, because by all means there needs to be more.

Thank you so much for reading, and I appreciate the fdk 😍 I've had something like this story in my head for so long, and it was a challenge to finally write it. I'm glad I decided to use Martha's and Jonathan's POVs as well, because writing in only little Clark's voice is quite difficult!

I'm looking forward to starting the next part, because yes, as you point out, he's going to deal with his powers starting to kick in quite differently than canon Clark.

I loved this story. I'm so happy he has the Kent's now, he just needs to let them in that last little bit, because it's only going to make them love him more!

The ending was lovely! I’m glad he’s now officially Clark Kent! Hopefully he’ll realize that he can tell Martha and Jonathan anything and that even though he’s not a normal human boy, that they’ll still love him. I can’t wait for the next story! Thank you!

He's such a precious little boy, and he's learning to trust them, but this secret he has is SO huge, and it's definitely going to be hard for him to trust them that much. I can't wait to get to write the next part!

It's such a huge secret for him, and since the Petersons weaponized it all the time (the fact that he's not human), he's going to (rightfully so) be very, very wary about sharing it, no matter how much he loves and trusts the Kents. That will be what the next story is about!

I wish I knew how long it will be, but I can't say for sure. It's playing out in my head right now! 😅 Hopefully I'll start writing it soon!! 🙃
