Hmmm, Jon is only nine. Its tough enough adjusting to these powers but to have images of his father in his head? That's next level difficult. Lois has grown into her role as a mother. Still I can totally understand why she might want Martha to talk with her grandson, because, let's face it Martha and Jonathan have been here before. But this is a new generation and Lois is doing what she can do to help her son. From what I've read so far, he's going to need all the love and comfort he can get.

Yeah, poor kiddo! He's actually only 8 still, though Clark has been gone for nine years... Which is nine years too long
Lois hadn't planned to be a mom and still doubts herself, although she's a wonderful mother. Definitely, she thinks Martha and Jonathan can help since they did so well helping Clark learn and control his powers.
