So good! I really like how it's from Jon's perspective and how he's seeing snippets of his dad and the little clues he's not percieving that's throughout.
Can't wait for more!

I love how Jon can hear/sense his mother's doubts. Hopefully he won't be as mad at her when she tells him...looking forward to part 3!

Can't wait for more! Telling it from Jon's perspective is fun as an author! Challenging though, cuz it's more limited -- there's so much he doesn't know! I love how Jon can hear/sense his mother's doubts. Hopefully he won't be as mad at her when she tells him...looking forward to part 3! Chapter 3 coming up! Thanks for the FDK! -Bek

His mother stood, and he followed her out of the room and downstairs, thankful that, at least for the moment, the only thoughts he could hear in his head were his own. Hmmm, Jon is only nine. Its tough enough adjusting to these powers but to have images of his father in his head? That's next level difficult. Lois has grown into her role as a mother. Still I can totally understand why she might want Martha to talk with her grandson, because, let's face it Martha and Jonathan have been here before. But this is a new generation and Lois is doing what she can do to help her son. From what I've read so far, he's going to need all the love and comfort he can get. Enjoying this!

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

He's actually only 8 still, though Clark has been gone for nine years... Which is nine years too long Lois hadn't planned to be a mom and still doubts herself, although she's a wonderful mother. Definitely, she thinks Martha and Jonathan can help since they did so well helping Clark learn and control his powers. Glad you're enjoying it so far! Thanks for the FDK!!! -Bek

Love that he feels Lois' love through the telepathic link.
It's never too dark to be cool.
