I am reading Lois and Clark Fanfic again and I see zoomway's boards no longer work and the links for the stories don't seem to work on the fanfic directory lists. I was wanting to read the George and Lynn stories again. Can they be found anywhere still?

Some of the nfic stories are in the nfic archieve. Look at www.nfanfic.net. Since this board doesn't permit George and Lynn fic (and I guess most people who frequent these boards don't like them), this should be your best option.
It's never too dark to be cool.

Have you tried using the Wayback Machine ( www.archive.org)? You can use that site to find a lot of web pages from the past.

That is unfortunate. I really liked those stories. I think there is only one story at the nfanfic site. I remember them being a lot of them. I have just learned of this site and I am not sure how to use this site. I don't think I am using it right. I appreciate you guys responding.

To use the Wayback Machine: - Go to https://archive.org/web/
- Enter the web site you are interested in.. (In this case, zoomway.net) and click the "Browse History" button. You will see a calendar for hte current year. Above this, there is a timeline, and above the years are black rectangles representing instances of pages from the site being captured.
- Click on the year you are interested in; that is, click on (for example) "2008" and not one of the rectangles above it. You should now see a calendar representing the year You clicked on.
- Click on one of the blue circles surrounding a day. A pop-up listing one or more times should appear.
- Click on a time. This will cause a new tab to open showing the home page for the desired site. You can then navigate the site to find what you want.
I have found this site to be extraordinarily useful. Be aware, though, of its one major limitation: It only stores pages three(?) levels deep, so if what you want was stored in a sub-sub-sub-folder on the web site, it won't be available. Still, it's worth a try. Good luck, Lynn

Thank you, that was very helpful. I am assuming passwords will not work for the old pages. Even if I can't find what I am looking for, it was very cool to see the old pages.

You're very welcome. I would guess you are correct about old passwords, but I don't know for certain.

No, passwords won't work. These old pages are snapshots.
"Oh, you can’t help that," said the Cat: "we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad." "How do you know I’m mad?" said Alice. "You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn’t have come here.”

The following link still works: http://www.zoomway.net/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.phpSome time ago, there was a boards revamp that migrated stuff to a new structure. Michael
