hyper

you made me cry (REALLY cry, I'm not ashamed to say it) with your cemetery scene, and then you made me happy with Lois' feeling to be at home in Metropolis, and the unusual propose (all of us wanted the engagement scene, so thank you! wink )

So, is Andreia onto the right path? will be a sequel? Not that the story need it, but your readers are insatiable, you know it! we want your stories, Erin! laugh

Thank you,

simona smile

Hi,

Beautiful!

Where is the sequel?

Quote
"You know, Clark," she began as she leaned back against the break area's counter, "now that I'm here in Metropolis, we really need to talk to Perry about everything we've learned about Luthor and Bureau 39 and Mesopotamia, Inc. I'm sure he'd agree to put us on this story and let us really dedicate some time to it."
What about Luthor?

Wow. Great ending to a great story. Loved that proposal. I was just getting into the whole photo album thing (getting over the "he went through her personal photos behin her back?" reaction and thinking about how nice a gesure it was) when she found the empty page. I'd been expecting a whole series of empty pages with the promise to fill them together, but, for some reason, I hadn't expected the ring to be there. Lovely, just lovely.

Gotta love those last few words, too. I can't explain it, but they really tie the whole thing together to a degree I hadn't anticipated.

Great job, Erin, and thanks for sharing! smile

Superb and fantastic! it was a long journey but worth every part of reading smile thumbsup You combine many of my what-if scenarios I'd been wanting to read more about;
1. What if Lois & Clark didn't work at the same place
2. What if Lois knew about Superman right at the beginning
3. What would be the effect of Lois and Clark having too soon a relationship.
4. What if Lois saw through Lex right at the beginning

Thank you!

If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

Hi Erin,

I just love a happy ending, but yes, this shouldn't be the end. They still have to expose Lex Luthor and dismantle Bureau 39. wink

Thanks for this story Erin.

Oh... well... whinging

So hard to comment when I'm sobbing into my coffee, Erin. <sniff>

Gorgeous ending. Just perfectly wonderful, full circle.

Then the ring in the photo album...down on one knee... grave side closure... mecry I'm exhausted.

So completely satisfying, and I have loved this Lois and Clark so much.

And...well, if we're voting, put me down in favor of a sequel!

CC- off to change her phone number in case she gets any outraged calls from Idaho...

Erin, I have tried sending this to your e-mail twice.

Erin, Thank you for all the time and hard work you put
into 'The Long Road Home'. It took me a week to read
through it, I really enjoyed it. I just have one
question, did I read it wrong, or the first time you
mentioned Lois' apt floor you said the fifth floor and
the next time you said the third floor? I just
wondered if that was a play on the way it moved around
in the show. One other small thing I noticed, when
Lois had her broken arm it seemed she was doing more
with that arm than she should. At Clark's parents she
put her hands in her pockets, and at one point Clark
hold her hands tightly. But it was a wonderful story
and I know you put a lot of hard work into it. You do
like hurting Lois though. At least she wasn't in a
cave this time for 6 months- LOL.
thanks Erin

Well, I guess I'm a bit late for the party but that was a great ride, Erin.

Loved (well, loved is probably the wrong word given their situation but oh, well, this is LnC angst, we're here for, isn't it?) Lois reaction on loosing Clark. mecry And I really thought you would pull Contact on us immediately afterward. But no, it was a 180, actually shock

Awesome story. Really great. And you did mention something about a sequel a little while ago, didn't you? wildguy
