If you read the daily comic strips, and if you peruse Funky Winkerbean (a silly name for a strip which deals with so many adult issues), you'll know that one of the secondary characters has just moved from Marvel Comics to DC and is going to be writing Superman stories! And, of course, he's having difficulty getting started - something that never happens to us fanfic authors. rotflol

Here's a link to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer for the date this story line began:

Funky Winkerbean

You can page through the daily strips using the date selection dropdown box, or you can change the date in the URL (year-month-day order). I really liked the strip where he had to have everything in perfect order before starting.

I like the strip from Aug 16th!

I've never heard of this comic strip. Is it local to you, or have other Folcs seen it?

LOL! Thanks for sharing.

The way this is going, he should probably contact some of our wonderful fanfic writers or at least check out the Fanfic Challenge folder, he'll get some great ideas wink goofy

It's been a syndicated strip since 1972. I remember reading it in college.
