Probably mostly of interest to readers outside the USA!

CD-WOW are selling the complete Battlestar Galactica Season 2, regions 2 and 4, for £15.99 post-free. Or about a fiver less than the cheapest on eBay.uk, and a tenner less than Play.com

Ordered on Monday, arrived today, which is pretty damned good since they're based in Hong Kong.

Warning - these are NOT suitable for US DVD players unless the player is region-hacked and you can handle a PAL video signal.

They have S1 at the same price, also Supernatural S1

You posting this, Marcus, is actually a bit of a co-incidence. I'd just been bemoaning to some of the others that I've had Buffy/Angel boxed sets on my Amazon wish list for a few years but never gotten around to buying them. They were new editions brought out a while back at £18 or so. I had just decided last week that I should really start collecting them and would buy one every month or so...when they brought out new editions again and now the ones on my wish list cost £30. I was gutted. Apart from doubling the price, the new ones apparently have no extras, just the eps, which I don't consider value for money.

But Wendy sent me to CD-Wow, where they are mostly £17 and have extras. Yay! Thanks again, Wendy.

I hadn't thought to check out Supernatural - so thanks for the tip there, Marcus. Will do. I have a quandry with that one because the UK version has episodes only and the US version is packed with extras - both for roughly the same price. So I might have to hold out for the US version.

I know because, I able to get season 1&2 of SGA box
DVD sets for 50% off. Of course, that is on the U.S.
site. It might also apply to amazonuk site. I was noticing that when I was searching for titles that they would say whether they were Region 1 (US)or Region 2. Sorry that you already got them Labby!
