These shows that have one episode at a week for a whole season, like L&C, when are they filmed? As they go, the previous summer, sometime else...?

Every show is different. L&C would begin filming in July, to debut in September, and would finish up in or about early April, for the season finale to air in May.

But I know some shows like on HBO film a long way in advance and don't follow this schedule. But L&C's schedule is the norm, I think.
