I know I'm getting closer, but it's just so darn frustrating!

Lois: Clark, are you all right? Clark: I'm fine. Lois: I was so afraid that you... Clark: It's all right. Everything's all right. Lois: I couldn't stand the idea I might lose you and I'd never get to tell you how much... I'd never get to say that... I... Tempus: Oh, please. I'll go to jail. I'll strap myself to the electric chair - just don't make me listen to this. Edit: It looks like there are several differences between what you've got and the script so I changed it from the script to what you have. [your punctuation may vary ] Carol

You wording is a little off.... but for the most part right... The lines I had were.... Lois: Clark, are you all right? Clark: I'm fine. Lois: I was so afraid that you . . . Clark: It's all right. Everything's all right. Lois: I couldn't stand the idea that I might lose you, and I'd never get to tell you how much. . . . I'd never get to say . . . Tempus: Oh please, I'll go to jail, I'll strap myself into the electric chair, just don't make me listen to this. YaY!!!! Good Job!!!!

Jess, I edited it. What you've got and the script are a bit different. At first, I just copied from the script but then went back and edited it to match what you had when I realized they didn't quite match up. Thought I had the disk in so I could check some of the other stuff, but didn't . Got it anyway I think. Carol

I got it off a Lois and Clark Quotes site. I actually just watched the scene and what I had was what they said. I am not a big fan of the scripts. I was going through them today looking for a certain scene and noticed that a lot of what they say are off to what at least my disc are.

That's true [I had to transcribe the chocolate/rocky road scene the other day - the script has something about speed v. row boats iirc], but everyone has access to the scripts and not everyone does to the DVDs etc so that's where I thought we were 'supposed to' pull text from. *shrug* That's what I thought the 'rule' was, but I could be completely wrong on that . Where is the Lois and Clark quote site? Carol

Yea, I was looking for that too to test and see if my find tool on my browser and I couldn't find it. I didn't know what there was a rule behind that. I just used the same sites I used 3 years ago when I was active on the board (the ones that are still in exsistance.) This is the site I used. It's the main page. It has a page called classic lines that show some of the lines from every episode. Here is the link... Amanda Lane\'s Lois and Clark Page

Can I vote we use the actual lines as quoted on the show? Because that's how I'll recognize them.

This is from the script because I have no way to check DVDs right now. Think it's pretty close but it's script not DVD. I've always done script when I've done them before but if that's an issue, then I'll have to bow out...

I think, therefore, I get bananas.
When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.
What's the difference between ignorance, apathy, and ambivalence? I don't know and I don't care one way or the other.
