I have been rewatching the entire series and I was wondering about what Dr. Deiter had told Clark about not telling Lois about their relationship. Is that something most doctors would say because it seemed like Deiter just said it because he liked Lois.

I'm not sure about RL doctors, but I do know that Dr. Deiter's admonition pretty much contradicted what Lois was told to do with Clark in "All Shook Up" (back in first season). Lois was told to have Clark be around familiar things and people.

Thats what I thought, I also thought that Clark was way too submissive during that whole thing. I would assume if you love someone that much you wouldnt be able to hide it after something like what they went through.
