Hiya, new to the forum but i've been reading the fanfiction for years now.
What i would love, is if i could simply have all the best hurt/comfort (or TC: torture clark) fics in one place as there isn't a section for it that i can find.
Anyone got any favourites they can suggest for me?
Anything from emotional to physical is fine. I especially love Lex and Trask related stories of this nature.
p.s. i know a lot of them are nfics, and i don't know if your allowed to post links in threads outside of the nfic section... but since i can't put this topic in the nfic section i guess it'll have to do
pm me if there are any amazing stories you can't post in this thread

Almost ANYTHING by Yvonne Connell. "Torture Clark" fics are her speciality! Purity is one of my favorites of hers.

Try checking out these authors on the Archive: Yvonne Connoll Wendy Richards CC Aiken Lynn M Becky Bain Tank Wilson Demi (Heaven's Prisoners is an angst classic) Sheila Harper L (Long, Strange Trip) Not all of the stories written by the above will be angst, but you can pick them out fairly easily from the descriptions in most cases. You can also go here Archive Database Data , key in the search keyword Tearjerker/Angst and you should come up with many more. Again, it's a large and quite wide-ranging keyword, so you'll have to pick the ones that interest you out of the masses. That should get you started anyway. LabRat

Oooh one of my faves is The People Vs. Clark Kent, by ML Thompson. Total tear-jerker. I highly recommend it.
Clark: "You don't even know the meaning of the word 'humility,' do you?"
Lois: "Never had a need to find out its meaning."

Two that immediately come to mind are Yellow Fever by ML Thompson and Misery by Yvonne Connell.
Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, The courage to change the things I can, And the wisdom to know the difference.

If you don't mind not necessarily dealing with a 'happy ever after' scenario then a must read are the stories by Becky Bain.
They deal with heart wrenching scenario's and incredibly well written.

It suddenly - and somewhat belatedly - occurred to me that some of my own stories probably qualify. I usually put Clark through the wringer, but there's usually a happy ending. Doc. Klein\'s LabRat LabRat
