Okay, I said I would post in August and I have. I'm going to be sorry I did, but there you have it.

Knowing that I'm going to be quite busy over the next month getting ready for our convention, I'm not sure how much writing I'm going to be able to do. I hope that my buffer lasts longer than Yvonne's did.

I will start out with a once a week posting schedule with the possibility of posting 'bonus' chapters if I have a good week of writing. (Ha! fat chance!)

If you wish to make a comment on my last story before retirement, you can do so here.

Hi Tank,

Very interesting beginning. You've certainly caught my attention.

I enjoyed 'Protect & Serve l' and this story looks every bit as gripping.

I look forward to reading how Lois and Clark's relationship unfolds in this 'world'. And I do hope that Henderson finds a way out of his dilemma.

Yours Jenni

Clark: What is that?
Lois: It's my word.
Clark: There is no such word.
Lois: Sure there is. Someone's a chump, therefore, he's chumpy.
Clark: Try again.
Lois: Are you challenging me?
Clark: You bet your sweet little chumpy I am.

hyper Glad to see this being posted! I just recently read the first one in the series and I loved it. I can't wait to see where you take this one -- you definitely have my attention smile

Great start, Tank! I love how you've made Henderson cross an ethical line without turning him into a mustache twirling bad guy. Shades of gray are just so intriguing. I'm anxiously awaiting more!

A very intriguing start. One that says lots of angst, whams and unexpected plot twists.

Really looking forward to more.

Saskia (somehow regretting she added another wip to her list while she knows she won't be able to keep up with anything soon... ah well, good writers laugh )

Great start. hyper

Hey Tank,

I've tried to read P & S #1, I really have.

I've sped=read thru some of it so I get the gist of the sequel.

It looks interesting.

Keep writing!

Whoa! You posted! smile1 Okay, so now I really think your super-secret mystery BR needs to find the next part in her mailbox pretty soon. goofy

I love the dynamics in this story. Clark is the boyfriend, sure, but Bill Henderson is the partner and best friend... and, I'm convinced, also in love with Lois. We know they dated, but we only have Lois's throwaway comment that it didn't work. So she's dating Clark, and Bill's... maybe a little bit jealous? wink

I could comment on how nicely you're writing Lois and Clark's developing relationship. I could even say that I hope Superman will reappear at some point in this story. But for now I'm just going to quiver at the thought of Bill getting deeper and deeper with Nigel St John - and being asked to kill Lois! goofy

More soon!!

All the trademark Tank stuff in here. Lots of potential for a really bumpy ride. Wouldn't want it any other way!

Lois: Can I go?
Clark: No.
Lois: Oh come on, Clark, why do we go through this? We both know I’m going to go.
Clark: Then why do you ask?
Lois: I’m trying to be nice.

Sorry, I forgot to come back and thank the gentle readers for their nice words.

Thanks... wink

Not many questions yet... chapter two is up.

Tank (who needs to get some more written if he doesn't want to pull a Yvonne)
