Poor Clark, losing and melting the lenses. I loved Lois' realization too, and her swift idea of Lazik surgery.
(My mom had Lazik surgery back when I was a kid - before they started cutting via laser - she had the scalpel done. It did *wonders* for her eyesight. So, don't worry, Clark!)
