I sense a problem. If Ching were to really make his role in the fall of Kal known, whatever else he might intend, what he would be doing is provide a living example that an act of treachery had let to the highest position on the planet.
Unless you are trying to promote the position that "cheaters win," I'm not sure that is the example you want to teach to the children.
