The others said pretty much all I want to say about this story. What's to add? I loved it from start to finish: I could feel Lois's pain as she realised what losing Clark means to her and the loneliness that hits her then. I really enjoyed Superman comforting her and showing more and more of his Clark-persona to her, up to the point where he kissed her and told her he loved her. It was such a Clark-thing to do, forgetting himself because he's so completely focused on helping her.

ps: Roger, yes, paying attention. At the moment, I'm focusing on a long-standing WIP of mine (barring a little vignette on the side) and as far as I know, Wendy is devoting her attention to her next epic (
