Although Clark realizes now the danger of spending time with Mayson, I don't think he's taking this seriously enough. He and Lois are going through a rough patch and the last thing he needs is to see an attractive member of the opposite sex on a regular basis, no matter how out in the open it is.
Carol, I can't help but cringe a little at where I see this is going. But I'm going to trust that everything will work out fine in the end. (fingers crossed)
