What a tense start - and poor Clark! whinging

I like the moment of connection between Lois and Mayson. It seems like it will still take Mayson a while to get over this situation and her heartbreak, but my headcanon is that she'll soon move on, and she and Lois will be on friendlier terms. (I've always wanted to see that in the show, haha)

I also like how Clark and Lois's feelings are respected. After all, while he's right not to reveal his secret - because it's a huge deal and he needs to feel completely confident that he's telling the right person -, she's also completely justified in feeling confused and upset, because he's a fundamental part of her life. And actually, I see her reaction as proof that she truly cares about him. It's a situation where neither of them is wrong.

And the ending was cute, especially the reference to last year's movie. (I mean, it was a reference to Superman 2025, right? At least I think so)

Congratulations on finishing and sharing it. Now I want a fanfic featuring Dan Scardino. rotflol
