Hi Mary,
I just realized, I haven't posted the final piece of FDK

I should probably fix that...
Not So Ordinary
“So, if I were to decide that I didn't want Superman in my life at all anymore, would you just give him up?”
Actually, the other two women who disapproved of Superman got dumped so quickly, they didn’t even realize their getting dumped.
Why would you suddenly want me to give him up?”
Because she needs to establish some position of power, and suggesting he give up other women isn’t going to work, according to her experience.
Just give me an ordinary life with no powers, no secret identities, and no flying off to save the day?”
Yes, he could do that. For a day, perhaps two. Then she’d be dead.
“Well, no. I don’t think I could.”
I fold my arms and fix him with my sharpest glare. “Then why is that what you’re trying to sell me?”

My blood begins to boil. “You weren’t dead. I was a complete wreck, thinking that you were gone forever and that I’d gotten you killed, and you were just flying around up there without a care in the world!”
Uuuuuhhh … /points at fic that uses this particular realization as it’s primary motivation/
I huff. “Who are *you*, then? Clark or Superman?”
Lord Kal-El, husband by birth to the Lady Zara.
LOIS:

“Lois, have you ever wondered what it would be like if you just woke up one day and found out that everything you thought you knew about yourself was a lie?”
You mean like last May, when her husband-to-be decided to become Superman?
Would you still be Lois Lane, or would you just think of yourself as some kind of…Ultra…Woman?”

“Hi, I’m Clark Kent, but some people call me ‘Superman’. I was born on the planet Krypton but grew up in Kansas. I really like you a lot. Will you please go out with me?”
Awwwwwww…has he practiced this line a lot in the local single bars?
I shake his hand, stifling a giggle. “You mean like on a date?” I pretend to think. “Well, I suppose I could give it a shot. Okay.”
Yep, that’s the response he usually gets.
instead of going out in disguises, we can spend some time discovering who we really are.
No More Costumes
Awwwwwww … they’re discovering themselves without clothes on

I like how the endings got progressively more emotionally impactful
As to your own FDK:
I couldn't help but notice the pointy spikes about the custom fic thread... I am rather busy these couple of weeks due to... let's cal it *other* fic-related work. And no, by "I have" I was referring to a file sitting on my drive with "fill with bytes" scribbled onto it.
