Well, I'll be damned. Had a little spare time, thought I might catch up a little on my reading, thought I might be lucky and catch some good fic. Didn't think I'd be completely suckered into a story! I just read parts 1 through 3, and this is fantastic.
I'm absolutely loving the character growth, and I adore the irony in the last line - especially as she recognises it herself! <g> I'm really, really enjoying this; I wasn't that big a fan of Mayson to begin with (the character, like Dan Scardino, was a waste), but I'm starting to really like her. Or at the least, your version of her. I'm really enjoying the way you write her voice - the little comments make me laugh out loud. (Do girls really think like that?
)
The only thing that threw me off a little was Mayson's iPod. They had iPods in '94/'95? The apple revolution must have started early in that universe, eh? <g>
Anyway, really enjoying this, can't wait for more.
