No, Scardino is definitely not taking the hint here. It would be fun to see Lois resort to violence but I think her way of messing with him is just what the doctor ordered in this instance.

Scardino definitely is clueless. Or maybe oblivious is more appropriate. Wish Lois had handled him like this in canon; of course that situation was different.
