All I can remember thinking when I watched the episode was why they'd bothered with a time difference in the first place.
I was a little disappointed, because making only 10 seconds or whatever it was pass in our universe, robbed us of some angst. <g> Our Lois barely had time to notice Clark was gone, let alone worry about what was happening to him or miss him.
It seemed a bit of an unnecessary addition.
