Love that even Wyatt can hear Marta. Must be a soulmate kind of thing. These kids are going to make Pilson (or whoever he really is) sorry that he started up with CJ. And Since the window was on the second floor of the building, and Lois Lane was pretty much grounded with her triplets, there was only one person it was likely to be,  I can see Henderson thinking that! Hope you find time inbetween enjoying your new granddaughter to write some more. gerry

Hey, if Wyatt can 'hear' Marta, Lois ought to be able to 'hear' Clark!  The next question is, can Marta/Clark hear Wyatt/Lois in response? Loved the united front noise pollution strategy.

Oh, this is getting fun  Loved the noise pollution and the way the kids were taking casual glances through the wall at the guy in the car. Oh, and have I mentioned that I love Henderson? Henderson took the paper. "If I were the curious sort, I'd wonder why your adopted son was developing your powers, but fortunately I'm not. Curious, that is. Good thing he's not only uncurious, but also very trustworthy. Nitpick patrol: "CJ overheard someone on the phone asking him if CJ was exhibiting any unusual abilities. He (CJ) x-rayed the guy's gym bag and saw a gun in it, and as of five minutes ago, his (Pilsons) car is parked across the street from my house, with a directional microphone aimed at it. My house phone is probably also bugged. I want to know who he works for." There's a term for that, but basically, you need to straighten out which "he" is who. If you see what I mean  Want more, want more! PJ

Y'know, the best thing about Nan stories is that the characters remember they have brains. And use them. How nice to see the soulmate thingy in action, even at such a young age! I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next. Hazel

Pam wondered There's a term for that, but basically, you need to straighten out which "he" is who. If you see what I mean It's called an ambiguous pronoun reference. I knew all those years of teaching English would pay off some day  gerry

I'm very happy to see a new chapter of the Dagger Series, I loved every step! Which troubles our heroes (CJ, Marta, Linda and Wyatt) are getting themselves into this time? Thank you for writing a new story, Nan! simona

Great part! I love your 'Dagger' series, Nan. The kids are wonderful. And this new story gives them yet another great adventure to cut their teeth on. They're going to be awesome crime fighters when they grow up.  Umm, and what's this I read in another thread? You don't like suspense? Aah, I see - you just like to keep us in suspense, right? Well, you're doing a fine job, Nan! This one oozes suspense. 
Lois: Well, I like my quirks. I think they make me unique.
Clark: You certainly are unique.
Clark: You're high maintenance, you know that?

I would think so, because of the bond. And we had an example of that in the episode(name escapes me) where Mindy has infected Superman and he nearly dies. Other than the Ouiji board thing(I realize that it is only being used as prop by CJ, I just have strong beliefs about them in general), great part. James
