"Maybe because you're both Kryptonians. Or maybe because you're twins. What's he feeling now?"
Brian was silent for a long minute. "I think he's asleep," he said. For a moment there, I thought maybe Clark would be back home, mooning over Lois, and Brian would tell her! But, no, he was asleep. LOL (Very 'Lois' of her to ask, though! ) Brian seemed to think about that for some seconds. "I don't like to feel sick," he said. "I can't fly as fast anymore, and I ache. My head hurts a little, too." Yikes! I thought he was going to drop her! "I think," Clark said obscurely, "that I was worrying unnecessarily." He glanced at Brian. "Be sure nobody sees you drop her off." I absolutely loved this! I can just see him doing and saying this! Clark really doesn't know how to react to Lois' non-reaction! Great part, Nan! - Vicki

This was great... I'm anxiously awaiting L&C's "talk" but I like Brian, too, so I'm glad to get him reassured. Like Vicki, I was worried when he said he wasn't feeling so good! But I hope his powers will fade slowly enough that they'll realize not to trust them. And Clark sure has a lot to think about Which is only fair; Lois has been thinking like mad for the last two days... he'll need to catch up. PJ
"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed. He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement." "You can say that again," she told him. "I have a...." "Oh, shut up."

It seems to me that Lois made a great job being a big sister to Brian. I don't think he will be a problem to Lois and Clark's relationship.
But you must stop letting him sense Clark's feelings - it may become an intrusion to his privacy when his relationship with Lois deepens.
Clark must be feel comfortable with Lois knowing his secret, otherwise he wouldn't let his glasses out.
Eagerly waiting for more.

Hi, Great part.
Maria D. Ferdez. --- Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age. MAF

Good instalment.
I'm curious as to what the 'complications' that Klein mentioned entail. I hope it's something really weird, like the clone winds up a female or something. I just can't see it working out with two Clark Kents and two Superman running around.
Maybe he'll disolve into a large puddle of beige goo.
Tank (who thinks it would be quite awkward if the clone starts hitting on Lois)

Glad this story is back Nan! I'm interested to see what's the big 'if' that Dr. Klein keeps hinting at. Can Brian really keep his powers? More soon! ~Liz
Lois: Can I go? Clark: No. Lois: Oh come on, Clark, why do we go through this? We both know I’m going to go. Clark: Then why do you ask? Lois: I’m trying to be nice.

Don't worry, Tank, I think I can finish this and make everyone happy -- except those who want ultimate death, disaster and doom. I don't do those. I know I'm taking a very long time between posts, but my writing time has been dramatically shrunk. I've been babysitting my youngest grandson, now 5 months old, and babies take an enormous amount of time, but I haven't quit the story. It has simply slowed down. You may or may not have picked up the clue, but we're approaching the dramatic ending (no, it will not be the next part, but we're starting to set up for it). To those who didn't see it before: I have always promised that once I start a story I *will* finish it. I don't leave readers hanging. I know how I feel when others do it to me, and I don't inflict that on anyone, so "Twins" will be finished. It's just taking longer than I expected at first. Nan

just caught up with your amazing story, Nan, and I'm looking forward to know how are you going to solve this mess: two Supermen+Clark's twin?? you're hinting Brian's powers are fading, so this problem is solving itself, but what about Brian himself(whom I adore, poor darling)? I guess I have just to wait fot the next part! Please post as soon as you can, Simona

I'm working on it, I promise, and with any luck will have the next part up today or tomorrow.
