Hi all! It's been a long time since I was on... I've been WAY busy at work...

WOO HOO June 7th!!!!!

ok... anyways.... a friend of mine needs a short, funny story to read in one of his speech classes. It has to be 4-5 minutes long (reading out loud). He doesn't have to read the whole story, just a part out of it that is funny.

He has one due tomorrow and would like to do an LC one then, but he also has one due next week, so if no one can think of something good before tonight, he already has a backup for tomorrow.

Thanks all! smile1

Try CC Aiken's "What the Cat Dragged In." There are also a lot of short-shorts that are funny, too.

Most anything by Paul. laugh Try Zombies Ate My Homework. Or Laura's Duckyman is a personal favourite.
Thanks everyone for the great suggestions! He told me late last night that he found one that worked. He was torn b/w a few (Zombies, Robitussin and a few others were up there). I think the one that fit everthing (length, type, etc...) was the one as to why Clark's shirt are pink. I don't remember what it's called.

On a side note... does anyone have a link to the LC/Iron Chef fic? I know someone wrote one and I read it a while ago, but I can't find it for the life of me. My friend is a big Iron Chef fan and I thought he'd get a kick out of it.

Thanks again!

Glad to be of help, Brianna smile

Thanks for the reccomendation, Lab. blush

As for the story you're looking for, it doesn't appear to have made it to the archive. I did, however, manage to find it with a quick search of the ZMBs. It's called "Gastronomic Revelations," it's by Jeff Brogden, and you can find it here.

(Comments for the story, BTW, are here. Just as long as I'm writing. <shrug>)

Paul
Thanks again, Paul smile
