Yup, I'm still following and enjoying this story. I think you've portrayed Lois very well, and her emotions are real and in character. She's entitled to be a bit testy due to her life experiences, especially the last five years.

Glad you're still with me! Yes, poor Lois has been through a lot. I just noticed there seemed to be a shift in the air on the boards this past week with a lot of Lois bashing so I wanted to make it clear it was done on purpose.

B/T losing Clark for five years, Jamie, and struggling to fight for herself and earn the respect of her colleagues she's had a lot on her plate. I'm probably just going to finish this one first before finishing up Epiphany. My muse finally came back to visit so I'm letting it run around to its heart's content. I know where I want it to go. I'm just trying to figure out how to get it there. :P

Agreed. She is a little on the testy side in this story. Yikes!

Ha! Yeah, she's being 'testy' to put it lightly. Poor Clark. Don't worry I don't plan on torturing him for too long. I should have the next part up soon.

What a roller coaster in Part 23. Wow! As I read it, I realized only Clark could survive five years of torture and heal so quickly. Even though he thinks Superman is just what he does, he IS Superman in so many ways.

Hi cuidadora! Thanks for commenting. I wasn't sure if anyone was still reading the new stories right now. Wasn't sure if I should wait to post part 24.

Yes, Clark IS Superman even when he doesn't want to be. It's more than just a costume but rather how he handles everything day to day. He's come through a lot and he still has quite a bit to get through but he is making great strides compared to how anyone else in that situation would be. There's still a lot of twists and turns to get to the happy ending though.

Part 24 is up. Flashbacks start back here. Hope its not too confusing.

I like the fact that Lois and Clark found Platt before he could die from electrocution. Clark seriously needs to be Superman, though!

Yes, I wanted Dr. Platt to be saved. Part 25 is up. It jumps around a bit. I hope everyone can keep up.

Catching up with this story. You're doing a great job of weaving your multiple plot lines into canon situations and making them your own and believable. While I'm looking forward to the next installment, I'm in no rush to see this story end!

Thanks cuidadora. I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I've finished writing it. Just trying to allow enough time for everyone to catch up and edit everything. I'm sad to see it end but at the same time, it's a bit of a relief. This story had been swimming around in my head since 2010.

Part 28 is up. Let me know what you think. I believe 30 is the right number but we will see.

For those still following Epiphany .... Yes, I will start writing the next parts in the next week Keep a look out near the end of the week.

Great ending. I liked this wedding setup so much better than both of the originals. It was short, to the point and didn't drag on and on and require Mike intervention. I expected an uninvited guest but was expecting Lex or Metallo to show up and spoil the wedding. Glad it wasn't either of them.

I like that there's still so many unknowns for the next story. What all does Sam know? Does lex believe the smallville file? How will lex handle both superman and intergang? Where's Nigel? Is there something wrong with this baby?

I'm looking forward to the next story and good job in this one. Seems like it's been awhile since we had a long story with a sequel.

Thanks chickberry! I'm glad you liked it. I know there's still a lot of questions but I had to leave enough unraveled in order to have enough material for the next story. I've already got half the story written in my head I just got to get it all out and pieced together which I'll have more time to work on come May.

Yeah, I toyed with the idea of putting Metallo / Lex at the wedding but thought better of it. I figured they had already been through a lot and didn't need anything taking away from their day. I figured Darryl was just a small nuisance that could be taken care of discreetly without ruining the wedding.
