This part was simply awesome! I loved each and every entry and while I'm still reeling from that last scene I'm a little hopeful too.

Longer is gooooood!

This was fabulous, Nicole. You had me riveted every step along the way. Poor Clark. Poor Lois. I *love* that she thinks she hates him but she still kisses him so passionately. And covers for him with Perry. And Lucy pointed out that Clark could have kept on lying, and chose not to, which is always a good point to make.

Oh, and all the lines about Lois never lying cracked me up

So, it wasn't a proposal. It was the prelude to a proposal, Lois. At least he didn't propose first!

Where's part 4??? I wanna know what happens next...

Nicole, I'm sorry I haven't had time to post comments on this so far - RL is just a little busy right now. Visitors and lots of being out and about, plus we just acquired a new cat!

Anyway, what everyone else said. This is so wonderfully entertaining and humorous, and - in this latest lovely long section - sad and angsty as well as funny. Poor Clark! While I understand why Lois is mad, I really feel for him. He tried to be honest with her. He did everything he could to break it to her gently, to show her how much she means to her and to explain why he kept the secre for so long. And still she blew him off.

That kiss, though... wow!! /me fans self. How can she not see that they're meant to be together? She definitely needs that 2x4, I think...

Looking forward to reading part 4!

No, no.. I can definitely tell you love him unconditionally... I was just struck w/ a curiosity about why... it's just, w/ Clark around, it's hard to understand an unconditional love for anyone else
