Looks fascinating so far, Carol! I can't wait to find out what it was that made Lois so angry with Clark that she wouldn't even call him to save her own life.

I was so relieved when Henderson saved her! Though I'd like to know what he's doing out on the sea in a boat. That's another mystery you need to explain.

As for Clark, I can feel his exhaustion. How long will it be before he notices that Lois is missing? And does he know that she's furious with him?

I really enjoyed that! I like how you put a tidbit of what was happening to Lois as you just about to get into what another character was doing.

I have the same thoughts as Wendy... and some other stuff.

- What was Henderson up to?
- What on Earth did Lois jump into this time and who stripped her naked!
- What did Clark do this time?
- I notice non PG stuff taken out - will there be a Nfic version?
- Have you now taken prisioner in for the long haul or are we skipping along through a small fic here (3-5 parts)?
- Uh I had more but my husand came in and distrupted my thoughts. (He had a cute dwarf hamster in his hand that wanted to say hello. How can I turn that down!?)

I just stumbled across this today, and, Carol, I'm so glad to see the revised version of this story opening. You've made a lot of improvements in the POV that drag the reader into the middle of what is happening. It looks like an intense ride.

You're going to be posting more, right? Real soon? Lots more? Right?

This is such an interesting way to write a story!! It's so angsty, but the reader isn't entirely sure why! I love it! Please post more soon!

So where's the story? I did a title search and it shows nothing but the comments folder on this forum.

I see others found it, but nobody posted a link. Did the title change? I even searched by Carol's registration number.

Thanks Wendy. I didn't think of searching TOC's. I remember the earlier post from last spring. Just a neatness note. I searched "Fanfic Related" and found it, but when linked it went to a request for a beta reader on a totally different topic. So the search feature is confused or the story has been moved. Anyway, I have it now. Upon rechecking, search should have found it in "Fanfic" but didn't.

Ah - that confusion is easily explained: Carol originally posted the section in Fanfic-Related because, as she explained to me, this post was a 'toe in the water' kind of thing, to find out if there was sufficient interest from readers here in the story. But we admins are kind of neatness-freaks, and we moved it into Fanfic.

So the search feature may have given you a link in FF-Rel because that's where it originally was... go figure.

It was so nice to come back to find Rach, Sheila, Nicole, and Artemis's posts. But I owe people an apology too. Although I have this story outlined I haven't written it, just reworked the intro, trying to fix the POV errors (thanks, Sheila!! ) As Wendy said, that's why I had orginally posted it in Fanfic Related, to see what interest there was in continuing it. The next step so to speak.

RL has taken a bit of a challenging twist, and I'll be in and out of town for the next several months I think. Right now, I'm not sure I feel all that much like writing, but I would hope to finish the story.

Part 1 was intriguing, and I will wait patiently upon your eventual return. I've been away from the boards for a year, but when I returned I immediately saw your story (and Wendy's, Kaethel,and Pam's) and became caught up again.
