What a great ending!  Clark overcoming all adversity! Tempus looked again at the statue with such anger it almost could have melted the stone. Then he sighed. It was ironic, he thought. All of his actions in this world had only worked to ensure Superman's victory. God, how he despised irony sometimes.  This was the perfect ending to this story. I can't find fault anywhere. Excellient. I could hear each and every character's voice when they spoke (especially Clark and Tempus). Hugs! Well done. Very well done, indeed.

I really liked the debut of Superman, Lois naming him, the marriage and especially Tempus learning that not only had his plan failed, but it backfired.

Hi, Virginia!  What a great ending! You tie everything together so well. We get Superman, a terrific introduction, the perfect wedding, and Tempus taken down by irony! I love it! Surpurb! Awww, shucks! Thanks.  Excellient! This is why no one else could be Superman but Clark. He rises above all adversity to become the better man. Thanks. I was worried it was a little too preachy, but I'm glad you liked it.  I wasn't expecting Clark's first public rescue with that header.   This was the perfect ending to this story. I can't find fault anywhere. Excellient. I could hear each and every character's voice when they spoke (especially Clark and Tempus). Hugs! Well done. Very well done, indeed. I have not posted comments as much as I should have on this story, yet that does not mean it wasn't awesome! Very nicely done. Having Tempus show up every few years without interacting with Lois or Clark was a different tactic which really worked. Thanks for the story! Oh, by the way, great picture of you and Dean!

Oh, by the way, great picture of you and Dean! Thanks on all accounts, Morgana! I thought it could be fun if Tempus took more of a "man in the shadows" role, instead of his usual, very hands-on approach. Glad to know that it worked for you. Thanks for the compliments on the pic. OH MY GOSH!!!!! Wow. This story was just so fantastic. I caught up the other day, and I practically held my breath from start to finish. It was phenomenal. So much emotions and plot twists throughout this all! I wish I had the time to tell you more, because I could really go on a long time, but unfortunately for me, finals are this week and I'm WAY behind on projects after missing class and doing so much makeup work. (Fingers crossed that I'll pass everything...) Suffice it to say, I found this tale an excellent method of procrastination.

Hi Vicki! I just managed to catch up with at least one story /points at part 17’s FDK way down there and this one/ "I'm not sure yet. This whole idea seems really...silly...to me," Clark answered, sounding uncomfortable and resigned. /imagines Clark being dressed up as Super Goof/ He emerged from the bathroom, wearing the latest of his mother's creations. Lois' eyes grew wide. Her mouth opened slightly, but she did not speak. She stood, leaving her spot on the bed next to Clark's mom. Chippendale’s work uniform? "No," Lois said breathlessly and shaking her head. "You look incredible." She ran her finger over the well-defined bulge of his bicep. Sounds like Martha will have to mop the floor again before someone slips and hurts himself on the puddle of drool. "Some sort of...I don't know. Emblem? Symbol? Something to announce to the world just who you are." Maybe if he wore his driver’s license around his neck? I've owned quieter Hawaiian shirts." Michael

Finally catching up on feedbacking the feedback. Chippendale’s work uniform? <writer imagines, chokes on own drool, requires rescuing by Clark> Sounds like Martha will have to mop the floor again before someone slips and hurts himself on the puddle of drool. Maybe if he wore his driver’s license around his neck? <imagines instead a dog collar with shiny tags> Clark: Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! And that’s not even talking about the male protective sports equipment his mother included. And yes, in Renaissance times, the clothing of pretentious men did intentionally emphasize things.
