Again, thanks for all the encouragement and support--especially those of you who love theatre the way I do. I have made some new theatre friends since starting this series and love to hear that the theatrical references are right on from those of you who know.

I welcome all comments -- so join in the discussion!!!

This particular fic not only flits back and forth between 2 versions of the present and 2 versions of the past but also between 2 of my favorite plays. Hope you enjoy.

Although I don't higly recommend the movie version of Man of La Mancha, the movie version of Wait Until Dark is wonderful (Oscar nomination of Audrey) and is well worth seeing. Anyone near Broadway might want to see Man of La Mancha now playing with director Jonathan Kent (couldn't help but toss that in). Not a great revival, but such a wonderful play that needs to be seen live even in a just above average version--so I suggest you try to do it.

So now we get closer to the auditions. Glad to see Lois coerce Clark into trying out, even though it was a low way to do it. wink Can't wait to see how the play ties into the story, even though I haven't seen either version.

Question, though, since you said there are two versions of the present, and two versions of the past: There is only one version of 1994, right?

Karen,

To answer your question. We are visiting two places in 2121 (Utopia before the change -- and Dystopia after the mutation--the world if Tempus got his way) and we are seeing two versions of 1994 --

April 1994 when Wells got their too late and Tempus succeeded which brought on Dystopia in the future and then back further when Wells returned once again earlier this time (with Claire to help him) to prevent Tempus from succeeding -- this is March 1994. If they stop him before the April 27th date then Utopia will continue. Watch and see if they do.

Don't like Luthor, unfinished, untitled and crossover story, and people that promises and don't deliver. I'm getting choosy with age.

Hey Barb!

I'm really sorry I'm joining in so late, but RL is such a pain lately. but I've finally been able to catch up with the story.

I was thrilled to find my name in the author's notes in part one! It's been a pleasure reading your stories; we should be the ones thanking you for such great stories (note I said should be :p )

I'm pretty intrigued with this story, and trying to anticipate what kind of evilness you'll put our favorite couple through this time (it is taking a little long, isn't it? evil )

I'll try to comment regularly, but, unfortunately, I can't promise anything (a stupid taxes exam is keeping me pretty busy frown )

Looking forward to the rest of this great story!

Cris
