Yay! new Smallville! I think that Clark's first contact with kryptonite is my less favourite scene ever... On the other hand, this time Lois knows about him. No word about Tony? you are evil

Hmmm... sounds like a lot more caution re telling the authorities about the kryptonite this time - I wonder why?

Oh no! Not the kryptonite! But, as Marcus said, hopefully Wayne hasn't contacted the authorities about it, yes? Does Wayne know that CK=S? I can't remember if you ever said that he and Nettie knew in this version. And... almost forgot to add that I'm *really happy* to see a new chapter of Nan-fic up on the boards. I hope that your RL obligations have calmed down enough that you can continue to write!

Delightful part. Enjoyed your version of Pete Ross. Love the cliffhanger.

No, not the kryptonite! We need Clark at full power! OTOH, I know Nan doesn't always head in the obvious direction, so maybe I don't need to worry about the green stuff just yet.
Hope you life is settling down, Nan. Loved the installment.

Update! (yeah, I know, took me a while to catch up ) "I'm a police inspector in Topeka," Pete said. Hmm... interesting that Pete is in law enforcement, too. Wonder if you're just sprinkling trivia or setting up the chess pieces "I got it out in the barn," Irig said. "Might as well show you now. Come on." And now the ominous music ensues Michael

Nan, remember when I said I didn't like the first encounter with kryptonite? I lied (crosses fingers behind back) Can we still be friends? Please come back, your fans need you, they look up to you. (paraphrasing game Alpha Centauri)

We need more Smallville! If you'll post more soon, I'll keep my kids outside when we come over to visit Except for Bridget, of course. We don't want to have to deal with a toddler meltdown. Please? Tara
