I am trying to figure out how I missed reading this one, because it's a nice little rewrite of one of my favorite scenes. I like the way you write Lois's POV; it sounds just like her.
And Clark sure asked the wrong question, or he asked the right question at the wrong time, before he had offered Lois a necessary piece of information about himself!
