Sue, we're getting restless out here... c'mon, post the ending, will ya? smile

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed.
He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement."
"You can say that again," she told him.
"I have a...."
"Oh, shut up."

Bummer! I saw the subject line for this thread and figured that part three had been posted.

I second Pam's request!

Eagerly awaiting part 3,

Well, this is a first, at least in my experience. I've never seen a feedback thread for a post which hasn't gone up yet.

But it should, Sue, it really really really should! You mustn't tease the animals, you know; they might escape from their cages and bite you.

whinging ). Alas, my beta is busy with RL, so she never had a copy of it.

And then I come online this morning and I see an FDK thread for part 3. For half a second I actually had this thrilling moment of relief and thought that maybe I had posted the last part and just forgotten. blush

My disappointment was ameliorated by the knowledge that you guys are semi-patiently waiting for the last part. sloppy I'm hoping I'll get some free time tomorrow afternoon to finish it up. In the meantime, if anyone spots a small teal-colored flash drive, there is a reward for its return.

Lois: You know, I have a funny feeling that you didn't tell me your biggest secret.

Clark: Well, just to put your little mind at ease, Lois, you're right.

Ouch! That hurts! I hope you didn't lose a lot of other data.

I can't speak for anyone else, of course, but I would rather wait a bit longer and get a part three that you are happy with than get something sooner just for the sake of getting it. Quality is worth waiting for. And the first two parts of your story are of such high quality, I am happy to wait for the rest.

cheers,

Yeah, I am also willing to wait a little longer so that you can be happy with part 3 before posting it.
