Great job, Karen! Thanks for sharing it with us.
I loved the opening scene--it was a great twist that Lois was so tied up in ranting at Trask that she completely forgot about Clark's secret for a moment.
Having her figure it out so early takes a lot of the angst out of the revelation since she has no reason to think that he *should* have told her and she doesn't feel stupid for not figuring it out sooner.
I hope you'll keep writing for us as time allows.

And another great title (but not the one Carol is thinking about).
I love the line about her not doing well with parents. I've heard people say that about dogs or maybe kids, but never parents.
I like her teasing him about diabolical blackmail. Thwarting would be awful; I'm glad that he just gives in.
The next vignette should focus on Lois' getting her wish. She needs to go with him the next time he does a food run.

I loved this! I'm sorry I don't have anything more coherent to say, but I thought this was well-written and an interesting departure from the original episode. And I certainly wouldn't be opposed to reading more from you!

This was really enjoyable, Karen. The whole series of shorts were fun, and tied together nicely. If you get any more ideas for future scenes, I'm sure I'm not the only one who would be happy to see more of their adventures. Lois finding out this early, before she could get completely star-struck over Superman, definitely changes their dynamic.
