Heh, figured it was the perfume. And their strength of wills just doesn't surprise me.

Mmmmmmm, great chapter! So now we know what happened in Eureka Springs! I loved seeing Lois and Clark work together to nail Miranda and save the city. And Clark is getting that job at the Daily Planet! Yay! And it really looks as if we are heading for a lovely happy ending without all that much horrible angst before we get there! Ann

Okay, so does this mean we've got both now: Lois was drugged but now she's not and she's finally starting to come to her senses? I mean, really, what more does Clark have to do to show her that he's the real deal?! Looking forward to the next part.
This *is* my happily ever after.

Shadow said: Anyone think Clark got dosed towards the end?... Maybe not with 'eau de sweat socks', but what about the item (evidently containing red K) which Lois spotted in that shop in Part 2: Her eyes came to rest on a sun catcher in one of the windows. A combination of sparkling red and clear crystals of some kind, it really was very pretty, but... --Snave

It was adorable how Lois asked Clark to come work with her.
And then the ending! Guess Lois figured out how she feels, huh?

Very interesting...so they haven't completely solved the mystery yet.
The next few parts should be fun!
I'm glad Perry sees Clark's worth as a reporter and is going to make a job happen for him.
Looking forward to more! Amber

Argh - thought I'd have time to respond properly today but DH decided unexpectedly to take the day off. So I'm going to post now but no time to do that *and* respond to everyone individually :p .
Thanks so much though - I do greatly appreciate it!
