And, just as expected, she'd just given him an earful, which he'd taken without so much of a complaint. He knew he probably should have stopped her after the first few words, but there was something about a very angry Lois Lane which was somehow...mesmerizing.
Angry Lois, sigh blush

Lara, I don't know where you get this notion of this not deserving FDK confused

It was short ( wildguy ), fast paced and really funny.

I didn't say that... Only it's been a long time since I posted part 2, and I'd only gotten 4 comments for that, so I wasn't sure if there was anyone left who still remembered this. wink

I'm working on part 4 now, so that should get posted soon. smile

Ack! Why so short?

But a great part, nonetheless! This is definitely an interesting turn of events...I never expected Bruce Wayne to buy the paper.

Poor Clark - found himself in the proverbial "danged if you do, danged if you don't" situation at the end! So Lois is about to get herself in trouble now?

I don't know why you haven't gotten much fdk, but this story it great!

Arrrgh! I'm supposed to be getting ready for a family shindig right now, so consider this a warning: I'll be back. <insert Terminator picture>

Are you sure you're going to be able to wrap this up in one more part? I think this is really supposed to be a 20-part series. grovel

The name my be Bruce Wayne but the actions sure seem awfully Lex-like.

I love the ranting Lois and Clark being mesmerized while on the receiving end of that. I was a little disappointed (but not surprised) that Lois didn't at least make a half-way apology to Clark after jumping on him so badly.

I'm enjoying this and look forward to the conclusion. But for the life of me I don't see how you can tie it up in a single part. (Unless you plan a 10,000 word post. smile )

You're darn tootin' I'm still reading this. Actually, I thought I must have missed a part when I picked up where I left off. Surely something must have happened that I missed out on. Then I realized that the backstory would be filled in on the fly--or is that bat-food?

Hopefully Bruce Wayne will realize that Lois Lane is not an enemy that he wants. I loved the suave, assured way he dealt with her tantrum.

*hugs* Thank you all for your comments - they've totally made my day! smile1

I spent all day working on the last part, which currently stands at 3000 words and is about 5 paragraphs from these two little words I like, but you guys might not: "The End."

Expect to see it this week, after it's been looking over by eyes that aren't seeing double. wink

@Sue: not sure about a 20-parter... how about a 42-part extravaganza? lol!

I'm all about a multi-part extravaganza.

Anyway, great part! I don't know how I missed the last one. It must have been during Food Poisoning 2009. Now the real question...can or will Lois nail Bruce for some treachery before it's over...

Looking forward to more!

Like I said before, I honestly don't think you can wrap this up in one more part. But I do like the idea of a 42-part extravaganza. smile1

And now I'm just going to sit here, hitting refresh until that last part shows up…
*giggles* How soon do you want it? Because it's done, and it's just sitting there on my hard drive, gathering dust. So assuming my laptop is still where I left it this morning, I could potentially post this the moment I get home.

Only, you have to remember: it's the last part.

(However, I will confess to one thing: there is such a thing as a 42-part extravaganza. There's even a title. And no, I don't mean "Seasons 1 and 2 of Lois & Clark" although, if you think about it..... :whistles innocently:)

Great story. I too am mystified on how you are going to tie it up in one part. Unless... it's the beginning of a multipart story. I have trouble thinking of Bruce Wayne as the baddie since I'm a Batman fan too. Dark, yes, evil no.
Looking forward to the next part.
cool

Nice part ... very nice part.

The good thing about getting to a story so late is you don't have to wait to keep reading.

The ending to this part was fantastic.
