Again, thanks to Nancy, Michael, and Rel... Posting next on Monday, either at around midnight or 7AM CST... depending on when I go to sleep. TOC | Part 31 Preview: Cat grinned at Clark. “Combining business with pleasure and taking your girlfriend home to meet the parents?”

So Jimmy and Lucy are into bondage, huh? Jimmy’s eyes filled with awe. “Charlie King, I don’t believe I’m in the same room with *Charlie King*...”
CJ eyed the younger man warily.
Clark chuckled silently at his twin. <You have a devoted fan there, Jay.>
<Great...> Poor CJ Clark turned to her and her eyes went wide as she viewed his face. “Aymee, if there is *any* chance that we’re right your friends could *die*. Can you take that chance?”
Aymee swallowed. Lois and Lucy stared at Clark in shock.
<CJ?>
<What’s up, Lois?>
<Can you get in touch with Clark?>
<No, what’s happening?>
<I’ve never seen him like this before...>
<Last time he locked me out was when he was apparently facing off with Luthor after those tests...>
<I think Luthor should be worried... Can you see his face through me?>
<Holy...>
<My thoughts exactly, CJ...> Clark's not happy, huh? Michael

I *loved* that it was poor Jimmy that ended up in the blue rope. And Lois's reaction Jimmy glared at them. "Are you going to let me go now?"
Aymee and Lucy looked at one another for a long moment.
"Naaaah."
Lois shrugged. "Suit yourselves, I'm going to have dinner with Rachel. The boys are out." was perfect. Bob

Agree with all the above posters on Lois' unconscious motivations.
Good job in showing the psychology that underpins her beliefs. Sad, too.
I hope that with Clark, she can learn to reprogram her attitudes and think of herself in a different way (always extremely difficult).
