Great part Nan. You may be "setting things up" but the whole "maintaining appearances for Lex" theme adds a nontrivial level of tension to the mix. Even with the advantages that Clark's abilities bring in, the Lex "machine" is creepy to be trying to deceive. Bob

More is wanted, and soon!
I always go "yay!" at the sight of a new Nan fic - your fics are always so interesting and so much fun to read!
I agree with previous posters - the Luthor "machine" is very frightening. I hope that our heroes and their helpers can make it through with no problems! (But wait - if no problems - then no story, right?)
Please post more soon!

Great to see another part, Nan!
You may be setting things up, but it's still appropriately creepy with tails, spies and killers on the loose. Just the way I like it. :p

"You told me you weren't like other men," she said, shaking her head at him when the storm of laughter had passed. He grinned at her - a goofy, Clark Kent kind of a grin. "I have a gift for understatement." "You can say that again," she told him. "I have a...." "Oh, shut up."

Yes and no. I've kind of hit a writer's block, and it's weird because I know where I want to take it. I'm still working on it, believe it or not. My usual way of dealing with writer's block is to write something else until the jam clears itself, which is what I'm doing.
Thanks for asking. I really am still working on it, just not on the computer, and when I clear the jam, it will be back.
