This Talbot guy is the killer? wink

Or Lori ends up killing the gossip one? laugh (Cat's reincarnation? wink )

I think gossip woman is more likely to be the victim, doubt Lori is the only target for her malice.

I read this last night - had just been wondering when part 2 was coming and there it was!!! WOOHOO!!

Does Clark have relatives everywhere wink ? Just about, but when you're 13whatever you tend to have lots of family around. Whathisname sure does carry a grudge doesn't he? Just curious why 'Marilyn' was always in quotes though... Am I missing something?

Don't like the gossip lady. Wonder if she's going to die and Lori's going to be framed for it or something. Or Lori's going to be kidnapped. Is she wearing her 'good' earrings wink ?

So part 3 whenever you're ready!

Not a bad part for just outlining the characters. I'm glad I'm not at that convention, though. It sounds like the private parties will be a whole lot more fun.

"Marilyn" is always in single quotes because Pete is talking about a woman he's never met. To him, Marilyn is an unknown quantity. He's repeating the name that Talbot Grey used. You'll notice when Lori or Clark talks about her, it isn't so marked.

Lovely continuance of this story. You always do a good job of setting up the scene and characters.

And I feel terrible that I somehow missed on of your earlier stories. I'll have to go read it after the Kerth's, of course.

I feel that I have missed a story here. I looked at your previous Home stories and I can't seem to find one that involved a ring at the bottom of Lori's purse or someone named Merrick trying to kill someone named Margot.

Is this another story that I missed or another story that you could potentially write at some future date, having now tortured us with all the information and having to wait for the characters to figure it out. (Just like on Columbo...I liked that method. Used to drive my Mother nuts. She would start talking to the TV, saying things like "No. No, look behind the bookcase!")

Wow, what a setting. My guess is with Markus, though. I'd place money on the gossip one being the victim. And if Lori is framed for the murder, things might get very interesting very soon. And maybe there is another big super family rescue mission in store? *looking at Nan hopefully*

Great start as usual, Nan. The Family Tree is revised. And Tiger Woods won his fifth consecutive victory just now.
