I think I'll read it! I enjoy a good world hopping caper, so I'm intrigued.

I've never really been a big Stargate fan - although I liked the movie - so you'll have to introduce a bit of LnC to keep me interested. Every world they ever visited looked like a bit of Canadian forest to me. Wonder why that should be...

Title suggestions:
Stargate: Metropolis.
Universes collide.
Strange visitors (from another galaxy)
Home is where the stargate is.
Wormhole in Metropolis... ok, I'll stop now.

Neat idea - a G'ould trying to take Clark over is going to have a major headache, of course, but his friends are a lot more vulnerable. Of course G'ould tech does use a lot of crystals, possibly some of them are kryptonite, though I think the ideas been used a few times before.

Gr8shadesofElvis: Thank you for those title suggestions, I am pondering them... and have no fear, this is going to be heavily slanted to LnC.

Marcus: You know the idea never even occurred to me - the connection between gou'ld tech being crystal based and kryptonite being a crystal - now I feel dumb. Still since it never occurred to me, there isn't any instances of that yet - might help me in one or two places I have been grasping a bit though - we'll have to see.

Door sized pane of light, hmm? Sounds like a Goa'uld cloaked ship of some kind (a tel'tac, maybe?). And this guy doesn't sound like a Goa'uld to me, more like a Tok'ra, with how he's asking permission before taking this soldier as a host. He's going to have been on the planet for awhile, too, when Lois and Clark come into it.

Personally, I hope this won't be during the whole Orii mess (didn't like that story arc) and without Jonas (can you say Mary Sue? lol). I'll read it if it is, of course, but I think it'll be better if it isn't.

I can't wait to see where you'll take this.
