Sara, sweetie! I'm so glad that you decided to let this little fic come out and play. I love the idea of AltLois longing for flight before she even knows that CK exists. Fate!

Awwww! This was so sweet Sara! I could almost imagine it being a prelude to "Away From The Sun"... when Lois is headed home.

But of course I wouldn't complain if it turned into something larger. <g>

Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Oooh! Sara, that was excellent! smile

*yay* for posting short stories - it definitely doesn't matter how long they are. laugh

I hope you'll turn the other little seedlings into something we can read, too.

You need to add more to this. Don't leave it like it is. It has so much potential to be more.

I'm going to start calling you My Alt Queen. God, Woman!

Don't stop there. Please.

Awww! Whether you keep this as is or make it longer, it's really sweet either way! I too love the idea of her longing to fly before she even meets Superman! Yay for half page stories!

No leave it as is - it's beautiful, etched as a wistful moment.

Thanks, Sara:)

Wow, thanks everyone! I'm really glad you all enjoyed this little fic. smile As for making it longer... who knows? Maybe someday, but probably not for quite some time.

DJ - funny that you mention AFTS, because I was just itching to use it in that story. But, alas, it didn't fit in. Lois had that article about Superman and knew there was a man who could fly. And the piece just didn't have the same wistfulness without that lack of knowledge.

Thank you again, everyone, for the lovely feedback!
