Title: The Ultimate…

Author: Me, Woody.

Notes: I got this idea while reading Nan’s Four Days to Nightfall…you’ll understand once you read it.

Disclaimer: I don’t own any of the characters, only the idea.

“How are we doing?”

“Holding course, my Lord. We should arrive on Earth in approximately fourteen days and eight hours.”

“Good.”

Lord Nor smiled evilly. In just over two weeks, the fun would really begin, and, if the assassin Tez had done his job, Earth should be his for the taking.

“Lord Nor?” The pilot’s voice startled him out of his daydreams.

“Yes.” The annoyance was clear in his voice.

“We’re picking up something in our path. Should we alter course?”

“No. It’s probably some small meteorite. The impact won’t affect us, and changing direction would cause us to recalculate our path. Keep going straight.”

“Okay.”

Fifteen minutes later…

“Umm, Lord Nor, you should take a look at this.”

“What?!”

“It’s that object, my Lord.”

“And…”

“We should impact in thirty seconds, but it doesn’t appear to be a meteorite, my Lord. It’s long, cylindrical, and appears to have some lettering on the side. USA?”

“What the…” The explosion rocked the ship and tore open the ship’s hull.

Lord Nor gasped. “Can’t…breathe.” Soon, all was still, and the ship became space debris.

<Zara.> Ching thought, and waited for a reply.

<Yes.>

<The test is ready. I’ll send the signal to the station in five minutes.>

<Okay.>

Four minutes, 50 seconds later.

<Ching. Abort the test.>

<What?>

<Abort immediately.>

<Okay, test aborted. Why, may I ask did I need to abort the test?>

<Lord Nor’s ship was discovered floating in space with him and his entire crew dead. Apparently he was headed to Earth. Anyways, his threat has ended. Lord Kal-El’s assistance is not required.>

<Good news, at last.>

---------------------------------------------------------------------

In case you were wondering, the object in space was the Asgard rocket. I’m not sure if the time matches up, or whether or not Nor’s ship could even be harmed by that, but it’s an idea I had.

Oh, and the title’s ending. …New Krypton Arc Solution.

I think, therefore, I get bananas.

When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.

What's the difference between ignorance, apathy, and ambivalence?
I don't know and I don't care one way or the other.
