You spin these vignettes out faster than some ladies deliver twins.

What can I say? It was a hoot! A knee-slapper! Had me laughing out loud.

I wonder if they'll try to stick him in the zoo. ("Look, Johnny. It's the homo-superian. They're endangered. Found only on the East Coast of the USA. Look at that plumage, Johnny. He must be trying really hard to find a mate.")

Keep 'em coming. smile1

Hah! I laughed almost as much at Elisabeth's comments as I did at the actual story. Put Superman in a cage, eh, as a "Homo Superian"? And look at that plumage!!! I'll never look at Superman's colorful super suit in the same way again! rotflol

Well - at least I suppose the zoo keepers will allow the last specimen of Homo Superian to mate in peace, eh? Without onlookers, I mean?

Those government people did one thing right, at the very least. Seeing that they were going to force Superman to marry and have a litter of super cubs, at least they had the good sense to force him to marry Lois!!!

Hilarious, Mary!

Hi,

That was a hoot.

I'd love to see more too. Especially when Lois finds out what the project is and who it's with.

Oh, unless the government decide to use artificial means. wink

I would love to see Lois' reaction to being in a roomfull of possible "mates" for superman. Mad Dog Lane would turn into a nuclear bomb!!

If she had to move heaven and Earth, perhaps come back to haunt Perry and explain the story after they'd killed her, she would do it.

For one thing, how did they get the needle into his skin? For another, you do have to continue this because merely selecting a mate is not enough for an endangered species; they have to produce offspring.

I think, therefore, I get bananas.

When in doubt, think about time travel conundrums. You'll confuse yourself so you can forget what you were in doubt about.

What's the difference between ignorance, apathy, and ambivalence?

First of all, Thank you to everyone who left FDK.

Regarding the sequel:

After much Hemming and Hawing, I realized something, and got a wonderful idea. This fic, as I think I said, was originally based on an idea for a Computer Game.

As a computer game, *You*, the player, would ultimately be responsible for the outcome of the initial scenario! laugh

...Can you see where I'm going with this? evil

I'm releasing this fic into the wild. It is now part of the Public Domain, like jingle bells. Anyone can write their own take on it---even I could write a take on it! But I want to see what other people can do with it.

You can be absurd, or take it seriously. Do what you will. It's all yours, FoLCs!

Just remember...CTRL is Jump, Right-Click is Info, and The Shotgun can only be used once every 50000 points.

What will happen? Only Time, and YOU, will tell!

EDIT: Btw, to answer Woody's question---Kryptonite needle.
