You'll have to forgive me, but there's a Lois and Clark story I've never seen. I think of this every time the scene comes to mind, most recently in BlueOwl's Lois..., which I enjoyed immensely from which I've borrowed several lines.
I have a hard time believing that it doesn't exist but on the off-chance that it doesn't, here is my version.
