I've said part of this on the Feedback page but I'm making an official beta request now. I did a search and it's been a while since anyone has posted for a beta. If the process has changed, please let me know.
I was inspired to post the first part of Proud of My Son by Queenie's No Context challenge. I've read it over and after more than 10 years decided to start working on it again. I have two issues with moving the story forward and my inexperience is at the root of them. First, I don't know if I have a Whole or a Heap. Is it a whole story or just a heap of scenes? Second, I don't know where to take it beyond what I have, which is a ton of backstory. I think it could be a good origin story but I've created a conflict that needs to be resolved and I need help plotting how to get there.
