I mean the entire thing is a misfire from the get-go. He panic bought tickets to a band neither of them likes LOL! But yeah it's pretty fun! Thanks for reading!

It's kind of cute how neat Clark simply forgot to plan ahead, should he get a positive reply. I can totally see that happen

A hundred dollars each! shock

(Sigh). That’s what you get for not planning ahead Clark. When the series was on Pearl Jam was the hot new band burning up the airways. So it’s reasonable to assume Lois and Clark might want to go. Hmmm, getting them out of this fix is definitely NOT a job for Superman.

Fashion advice from Jimmy? jawdrop

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

LOL yeah he panic-bought the tickets wanting to impress her. It was the only justification we could think of, given that neither of them showed ANY indication on the show that they would listen to a band like Pearl Jam wink

Ha ha! Yeah Pearl Jam were crazy popular, but not exactly the right genre for Lois and Clark (I did enjoy a few of their songs and was a fan of some of the other grunge bands of the time including the opening act for the concert). But we went for the fish out of water aspect of the story. And yeah Jimmy tries. But poor Clark...

Also, it's funny that the tickets were expensive because when KSaraSara and I did our research, the band was embroiled in a war against ticketmaster and wanted to charge FAR less for their tickets. They hated the way ticketmaster price gouged and on that tour tried to avoid using ticketmaster. It didn't go well.

Okay, now I'm thinking this must be an alternate universe! Lois and Clark on a first date to see Pearl Jam. And Clark seeking fashion advice from Jimmy. rotflol

This is just too hilarious laugh And more so, after reading your account of the situation between Pearl Jam and Ticket Master! I hope you don't have them lose the overpriced tickets to Jimmy due to an unexpected work assignment!

To be fair, statistically speaking, her saying yes was about as probable as a flying man showing up and saving the space program.
