Is anyone else having trouble logging onto the lcfanfic.com website? For the last few days, it's been very fickle for me. Sometimes it loads no problem and I can read all the wonderful stories I want, but sometimes it says it "refuses to load" like I have no internet connection. I of course DO have internet. Today, I'm not able to load the website from any device and just wanted to know if I was alone in that or if there is something going on.

I haven't been able to get on this morning either, keep getting a server timed out or server not responding.

A handy site to know about is isup.me . You can go to it, type in a URL, and see whether a particular site will load for them.

Quick update: the Archives (lcfanfic.com) are run by Lauren, not Annette, so I've updated the mail chain. Either way, they're back online right now  Michael

Thank you so much. That website has been my comfort site for over 20 years (gah! time flies). I appreciate all who keep it up and running and to all the wonderful authors still cranking out awesome stories. It seriously is the best fanfiction archive around and no one can change my mind on it. lol. Some of the best stories I've ever read across any medium are on this website. You all are just really amazing.<3

Hey, everyone The issue seems to be ongoing. The tech stuff is way above my pay grade but I’ve emailed Lauren again and asked her to let me know the current state of play or post an update here to the mbs. Oddly enough, I have not been affected at all, no matter what platform is used.

The problem seems to be intermittent. I haven’t had any problems either.

For some reason it was set to https instead of http. Once I fixed that, it worked

I'm currently having issues with it. But I was able to be on it throughout the day today. And the issue is happening both on my desktop and my cellphone. Edit: (Two minutes later) Now it's working again. seems like a gremlin is on the loose.
