OP amciotola Boards Chief Administrator Beat Reporter Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 346 Pennsylvania	Just sending a reminder that this weekend the message boards will go through a minor version upgrade. I anticipate that the boards will be down about 6 hours but I will approximate a 12 hour outage, in case of any issues. 1. The boards will be shut down at 10 pm EST on Saturday night. 2. A full back-up of the software and database will take place. 3. I will run the upgrade - keep all fingers crossed 4. If all goes well boards will reopen. The 12 hour window is just to let me take my time and a just case I need to restore the old software. This is being done because the current software is out of date with some off the server upgrades on the host's end that caused some previous sudden outages. Thank you for your patience. We had a family emergency on Friday that spilled in to Saturday morning so I did not get to it. I'll try again this weekend. Sorry! Morgana A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.
