If any readers are a little confused about what's going on. This is part of my Visitor series which actually begins with A Lovely Smile and ends with A Wedding in Paris. Feel free to look them up in the archives.

Please place all comments here. wave

A writer's job is to think of new plots and create characters who stay with you long after the final page has been read. If that mission is accomplished than we have done what we set out to do, which is to entertain and hopefully educate.

What a sweet story! Bernie and Abrihet are perfect for each other. Your descriptions are so delightful, I feel like I'm at a banquet of words. If I start quoting my favorite passages, the whole chapter will end up here.

It's wonderful to see Lois and Clark have friends in on the secret who can share and make the street fair and shopping an adventure to be treasured. Loved seeing them break into pairs by gender to go shopping. And the contrast in shops each pair chooses.

Well done! clap

Thanks for the excuse to go back and re-read all the stories in this series! hyper

Having friends to share things like street fairs and fun secrets are important. That's something which could not be shown on the show.

Morgana always has a great feel for this type of story. She can empathize with the characters, getting into their heads in a way that is unique. This whole series is a wonderful read.

Hello my friend, thank you for the kind comment! Bernie is an established character whose gentle nature is always easy and relaxing to write. Abrihet was a bit more of a challenge, all I had to go on was one line mentioned by Clark in the pilot. Creating a full-fleshed character from such thin cloth sometimes had me scratching my head in frustration. With the help of Sydney, an FoLC who at one time lived in Paris, the Nigerian princess slowly came into creation.

Creating stories from thin cloth is what writing is all about! Something you are very well aware of. wink
