Either Lois or Clark (or both) has been discovered to have at least 3 of the following items on their person:

1. A live reptile
2. A carton of cigarrettes
3. A firearm
4. A film of questionable taste
5. Diamonds
6. Someone else's underpants
7. An explosive
8. A bottle of moonshine

Any combination of 3 or more will do. The question is: WHY do they have those things? And how do they explain it to the person who just caught them?

(Note: this challenge is inspired by a real-life news item where a routine pull-over in Oklahoma turned up some uranium, whiskey, and a live snake.)

Yeah, I have no idea why the uranium. The whiskey, sure. The snake, probably because they'd already sampled a good bit of the whiskey. Oklahoma is just like every other place in the world: it has its share of crazies. And sometimes another place's share, too.

I love the premise. Here's my take.
